# Business setup

> Create and prepare a merchant account.

Use the merchant dashboard to register your business, sign in, complete verification, and prepare your account for payments.

## Create a merchant account

1. Open the dashboard and choose **Register**.
2. Choose the merchant account option.
3. Enter the account owner details.
4. Enter the business name, contact details, and business type.
5. Submit the form and complete any verification steps.

## Sign in as a merchant

1. Open **Log in**.
2. Choose the merchant sign-in option.
3. Enter your email address or phone number and password.
4. Open **Home** to review setup progress and account activity.

## Complete setup

Before going live, review:

* Organization profile.
* Verification status.
* Settlement and wallet balances.
* Team access.
* API keys if your team will integrate through the API.
