# Get paid

> Collect payments using merchant payment tools.

Use **Get paid** when you want to collect money from a customer without building an API integration.

## Create a payment request

1. Open **Get paid**.
2. Choose **Payment link**, **QR code**, or **Checkout details**.
3. Add a short title, amount, and reference.
4. Share the generated payment details with the customer.
5. Track the payment from **Transactions**.

## Choose the right method

| Method           | Best for                                   |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| Payment link     | Sending a link by chat, email, or invoice. |
| QR code          | In-person checkout.                        |
| Checkout details | Sharing clear payment instructions.        |

Use a reference your team can recognize, such as an order number or invoice number.
