Merchants also use the dashboard to:
  • Create paylinks for invoices and donations.
  • Set up a shop, products, orders, and point-of-sale.
  • Create payment requests with links, QR codes, or checkout details.
  • Manage API keys for sandbox and production.
  • Invite team members and update organization settings.

Use the Merchant API when your business needs to connect Sarafa to a website, checkout, accounting system, or internal operations flow. The API supports:
  • Viewing your organization profile.
  • Listing wallets and wallet transactions.
  • Creating collections from customers.
  • Sending transfers.
  • Swapping wallet balances.
  • Listing transactions and exchange rates.
  • Receiving callback updates for pending collections and transfers.
  1. Create or sign in to your dashboard account.
  2. Complete profile, verification, and security setup.
  3. Add funds or receive a payment.
  4. Save recipients for repeated transfers.
  5. Review transactions often and use references that your team can recognize.
  6. For merchants, test API keys in sandbox before using production.
